Ross Whitelaw BDS MFDS RCPSG PG Cert PG Dip

Since graduating in Dentistry from the University of Dundee in 2013, Ross has gained a wealth of experience of general dental practice, working in several different areas across Scotland before purchasing Linwood Dental Care in 2020.
Ross continues to advance his dental education by completing his MFDS diploma with The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2016. Ross then graduated with distinction from a Postgraduate Certificate in Oral Surgery in 2018 with the University of Bristol and in 2023 he began studying towards a Postgraduate Diploma in Implant Dentistry.
Coupled with his commitment to life-long learning, Ross is keen to deliver the highest level of service to patients, by adopting the latest dental techniques and technology at Linwood Dental Care. The practice has introduced an intra-oral scanner to allow precision dentistry without the need for impressions as well as an EMS Air-flow unit to provide a superior cleaning.
Outside of work, Ross has volunteered his dental skills in outreach programmes in Cambodia and the Dominican Republic, he is a keen football fan and enjoys spending time with his wife and three dogs.
Arran Lang BDS MFDS RCPSG MSc

Arran graduated from dentistry at the University of Dundee in 2015 and began her career in the coastal town of Lossiemouth. Over the years, Arran has worked within several dental practices across Scotland and gained experience working within the NHS and private dental sector, eventually settling in Renfrewshire as owner of Linwood Dental Care.
Always keen to advance her knowledge, Arran has attended multiple postgraduate training courses covering short-term orthodontics, aesthetic treatments and restorative skills.
In 2017 Arran completed her MFDS diploma with The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. In 2018, Arran won Dentistry Scotland’s Rising Star Award. Keen to pursue her interest in aesthetic dentistry, Arran enrolled in a three-year Master’s Degree programme in Aesthetic Dentistry at King’s College London, which she successfully completed in 2020 following the submission of her dissertation on dental whitening.
Outside of work, Arran enjoys keeping fit and spending time with her family and her three dogs.
Alexandre Bell BDS MFDS RCPS PG Cert
Dentist (GDC Number: 245243)
Alexandre (aka Zander) graduated from the University of Dundee in 2013 and relocated to Cumbria where he worked in general practice for three years before returning north to practise in Renfrewshire.
He believes strongly in lifelong learning and since graduating he has gained membership to the Dental Faculty at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, been awarded a Post Graduate Certificate in Restorative Dentistry and has undertaken numerous post graduate training courses.
He is passionate about providing a high level of holistic care in a relaxed manner whilst getting to know his patients and making them feel at ease.
Outside the world of teeth, Zander enjoys cooking, cycling, watching and (when he’s not injured) playing football.
Alice Mackintosh BSc (Hons), BDS
Dentist (GDC Number: 317816)
Alice is delighted to have joined the fantastic team at Linwood Dental Care after graduating from the University of Glasgow in 2024.
Alice entered the world of dentistry slightly later on in life, after previously completing a science degree at Lancaster University and working in the medical devices industry in Livingston. She has not looked back on her career change, and is committed to providing a comfortable, relaxed and trustworthy environment for patient care.
Alice looks forward to continued learning throughout her career and is enthusiastic to undertake further courses in areas of interest such as oral surgery and restorative dentistry.
Alice enjoys keeping busy outside of the surgery with running, spending time with her husband and cockapoo, and visiting friends and family across the UK.
Angela Earlie
Angela’s career has spanned over 40 years, during which she has gained a wealth of experience of patient care and a substantial knowledge of the dental field. From starting out as a dental nurse, becoming a child smile nurse, venturing into implant nursing training in Edinburgh and gaining a PDA qualification in Inverness as a Dental Practice Manager, which is her current position.
Living and working in a community such as Linwood, which has come a long way over the years and is now a hive of industry, has given Angela so much pride, as well as knowing patients both in and outwith the surgery.
She enjoys all aspects of dentistry, most of which is making sure the patient journey is perfect from start to finish. Her passion for people and patient care enables her to carryout her job with attention to detail and compassion, effortlessly putting patients at ease.
In her family life, Angela enjoys walking her dogs, swimming, going on exotic holidays and taking time out to eat at nice restaurants with her family, and finds time to relax when she can.
Rachael
Rachael joined Linwood Dental Care in 2022 as a trainee dental nurse and is due to qualify this year.
She has been instrumental in providing high quality dental care and is normally found assisting the dentists in surgery or helping Angela front of house.
Outwith dentistry, Rachael enjoys keeping fit, regularly taking part in local Parkruns and half-marathons and enjoys spending time with her cockapoo Spencer.
Sydney
GDC Number: 317093
Sydney joined the practice in 2024, bringing a wealth of experience to the team.
She works alongside our dentist Alice in surgery and also helps with patient queries front of house.
Sydney has spent much of her life overseas, but has now settled back in her native Scotland, relocating to Linwood.
In her spare time Sydney likes to keep fit and enjoys socialising with friends.
